Refund and Returns Policy
Refund Policy for Pawsome Puppies:
Thank you for choosing Pawsome Puppies as your puppy provider. We take great care in ensuring the health and well-being of our puppies.
- Health Record and Certificate: We guarantee to provide a health record for your puppy at the time of sale, which will include all necessary information as required by law. Additionally, we will furnish a good health certificate issued by a licensed Veterinarian within 21 days prior to the date of sale. If, for any reason, we cannot provide a health certificate, we will offer a guarantee of good health issued and signed by the seller.
- Initial Veterinary Examination: To protect your rights under this guarantee, you must have your newly purchased puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian within 10 days of the purchase date. Should the examining Veterinarian determine within this 10-day period that your puppy is unfit for sale or is clinically ill, you have the following options:
- a. Return the puppy for a complete refund.
- b. Return the puppy for a replacement of equal value.
- c. Retain the puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable Vet fees incurred, not to exceed the purchase price.
Please note that these options do not apply if the seller has already provided a health certificate issued by a Veterinarian and has disclosed, in writing at the time of sale, any health issues for which the buyer later seeks to return the puppy.
- Genetic Guarantee: The genetic guarantee will be in effect from the purchase date until the puppy reaches one(1) year of age (or the specified time on the contract). It applies to any hereditary or genetic defect that adversely affects the dog’s quality of life or if the puppy dies from a congenital/hereditary defect. For breeds with flat faces (brachycephalic breeds), stenotic nares are expected and not considered a genetic defect covered by this warranty. In the case of a flat-faced dog diagnosed with ESP (elongated soft palate), the seller may require a second opinion from a similar Veterinarian in the customer’s living area.
- Notification Requirements: Within three (3) business days of a Veterinarian’s findings of illness, defect, or death, you must notify the seller of the name, address, and telephone number of the examining Veterinarian. Failure to notify the seller within this timeframe will result in a forfeiture of your rights under this guarantee. Once you have notified the seller, a Veterinarian certificate will be required to proceed with the refund or replacement options.
Please keep in mind that this refund policy is subject to the terms and conditions stated in our contract. We are dedicated to ensuring a positive and satisfactory experience for you and your puppy, and we will work diligently to address any concerns or issues that may arise within the scope of this policy
